Barbara Walters is famous for her namesake summer special and co-starring in talk shows like The View, and the newsmagazine 20/20. She was a monumental force in celebrity journalism, being able to bag first exclusive interviews before anyone else. She takes credit for hosting alongside high-profile cases in the United States. In fact, because of her lifelong work, she received a spot in the Television Hall of Fame and a star along Hollywood Boulevard.

In 2009, she was given a Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in the field. Behind the fame, she’s a mother first. She and her husband Lee Guber adopted Jacqueline Danforth in the year 1968 moments after she was born. They took care of her like they were her own and never treated her any less than that. Now that Walters is 91 years old, she looks back and wishes for a bigger family and more children.
