Connie Britton is a famous American actress who had her beginnings in the industry in the indie comedy-drama movie The Brothers McMullen of 1995. She then followed that up with a role in the sitcom Spin City. From then on, she would star in several films and TV shows. Moreover, her performance in the series Friday Night Lights, which aired from 2006 to 2011, earned her a degree of esteem amongst her peers and was awarded two Emmy Awards.

Apart from her flourishing acting career, Britton mostly spends her time as a distinguished humanitarian. In 2014, she was appointed to become the 10th Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Development Program, which is the UN’s branch for anti-poverty projects. She also spent some time in Ethiopia, getting involved with the African Children’s Choir and Worldwide Orphans. There, she met Yoby, whom she adopted after the loss of her father, marking a new beginning in her life.
