She is also a member of the Osmond family, one of the families of celebrities in Hollywood. She gained popularity in the 1970s to 1980s with her solo music career in country singing. Her greatest hit song is Paper Roses. Osmond also became a host of Donny & Marie, which she co-hosted with brother Donny.

The singer has 8 kids with current husband Steve Craig and former husband Brian Blosil. Osmond has adopted her youngest child Abigail in 2002 during her marriage with Blosil.
