Tom Cruise has been long adored by fans of action movies throughout the 1980s to 2000s. When he was in high school, a teacher urged him to take part in the school’s musical Guys and Dolls. After securing the lead role, Tom’s love for acting would eventually take him to higher places. Cruise’s early endeavors were first noticed in Taps when he compelled critics and filmmakers alike. His success cascaded until he was casted in Top Gun which got credit as the highest-grossing film of 1986.
Cruise had his first taste of a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his role in Born on the Fourth of July, three years after the release of Top Gun. Suri Cruise, whose name translates as “red rose” in French and “princess” in Hebrew, is Tom Cruise’ and Katie Holmes’ daughter. With parents who are both prominent in the entertainment industry, it goes without saying that Suri has been practically tailed by paparazzi since she was born. Just recently, she has been spotted running errands or dining out with her mother.
