CORDELL BROADUS-SNOOP DOGG’S SON
Born as Calvin Broadus, Snoop Dogg was the leading figure in the 1990s gangsta scene. His nickname was coined by his mother, who thought he looked like Snoopy. Before he had a certain knack for rapping, Snoop Dogg used to play piano and sing in their local church. After leaving high school, the rapper had his fair share of misgivings and spent a considerable amount of time in prison. As a way to cope with the demise, the artist within was channeled through his words. He eventually started to write what he felt and recorded early demos.
This would alter Snoop Dogg’s life. It’s safe to say that we can credit his success to his setbacks. Cordell Broadus is Snoop’s second son. Cordell played varsity football since he was in high school. This would eventually fund his education at UCLA. However, after college, Cordell revealed that playing football was only his way of making his dad, Snoop Dogg, happy. After this realization, Cordell went on to follow his ambitions.
