Homer James Jigme Gere – Richard Gere’s Son

Homer James Jigme Gere is the 21-year-old son of the actor Richard Gere and his second wife, Carrey Lowell. Born in February 2000, he was named after his grandfathers, while Jigme is a Tibetan name that his father gave him as a tribute to his religious beliefs. When Gere and Lowell separated in 2013, Homer went through the ordeal of his parents’ fight over custody. He remained strong throughout the ordeal, choosing to live with his mother in New York but maintaining good communication with his father.

Unlike his parents, Homer is not a fan of being a celebrity and mostly lived his life privately. As such his educational background, such as his degree, is unknown, as well as his relationships. For that, it is safe to say that we will not be expecting Homer to be featured in any films or such, despite the good looks that he inherited from his parents.
