Fans have been intrigued by Eminem’s former wife, Kim Mathers, after he has talked about her a number of times in his songs. The two used to have an on-and-off romance, and everything started when they were in high school. They were once high school sweethearts, and their tumultuous affair resulted in Kim giving birth to their daughter, Hailie, in 1995.

Eminem and Kim first tied the knot in 1999, the same year he dropped The Slim Shady LP. They eventually parted ways and married again in 2006, but it also ended after just three months. The two parties often exchanged insults and unpleasant words about each other, but in 2017, Eminem finally made a public apology to the mother of his child. Kim, too, now gets credits as a writer of children’s books, both moving on from their dark pasts.
