KIRSTIE ALLEY

Before making her way into the entertainment industry, Kirstie Alley had already made a couple of investments as an interior designer. Throughout that period, she also had the chance to test her luck by playing in game shows, notably Password Plus and Match Game. Well, by the looks of it, these stints undoubtedly helped her transition to a career under the spotlight.

By 1982, Alley got her film debut appearing in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Her breakthrough came a few years later when she took the chance to star in the widely beloved TV sitcom Cheers. Along with the fame, her performance as Rebecca Howe also earned her a Golden Globe and an Emmy award. Since then, the actress has worked on other projects such as Veronica’s Closet, Sibling Rivalry, It Takes Two, and Scream Queens. With her most recent work being a 2020 TV film, it’s safe to say the 70-year-old star won’t be leaving the acting business just yet.
