LYNDA CARTER

If you think about it, stories are like water: they’re often adaptable from one medium to another. With that in mind, it’s no wonder a significant amount of investment money has been spent making numerous adaptations. Of course, the most notable example would be adventures from books brought to life on the screens.

With her first exposure to fame as a contestant for beauty pageants, Lynda Carter eventually garnered even more recognition for her career in front of the camera. After appearing as a guest star for a couple of shows, the actress has since been cemented in entertainment history for her portrayal of the iconic DC heroine Wonder Woman. While she has already bid the character farewell, it sure looks like the Wonder Woman in her isn’t entirely gone just yet. Now entering her 70s, Carter still manages to be the star of whatever project she works on – even if she is just cast as a side character.
